I had a bit of problem converting the m4p file to mp3. The software wanted to use a microphone as a source, and would not just use the soundcard, so I ended up having to place a patch cable between the sound card (output) and the auxiliary (input) and play the file through I-tunes while recording it on Audio Record Expert. If I had not had that patch cable, I don’t know how I would have converted the song…. Also, It would be really convenient if there were a three or four second delay option in recording, as that is how long it takes to switch to the other program and actually start playing the song after the recorder starts. Either this or have it so the recorder does not activate until there is actually a signal. It was a bit of a problem to get the volume leveled out equivalent to the original file was pretty much trial and error. All in all, it took me 43 attempts to convert the file before I had it right, between figuring out just what combination between the ports on the soundcard (microphone, speaker, and auxiliary), timing the recording start and playing the file through I-tunes, and adjusting the volume.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi, John:
Have you tried to select the Source Combo Box.
You can choose “Wave Mix” or “Stereo Mix” to record the sound come out of iTunes
